Donald L. 'Red' Lund

Lund, Donald L. "Red" Age 92 passed away peacefully on December 13, 2017, at Mount Olivet Careview Home, Minneapolis. Preceded in death by parents Ollie and Myrtle Lund, sister Elaine Glassner, Brother and sister-in-law Allen and Rachel, sister-in-law Betty Lund. Survived by brothers Clyde (Theresa), Robert (Margareta), Roger "Buddy", many nieces and nephews and special cribbage friend Karen "Bunny" Walloch. Don served in the Merchant Marines during WWII. A long time resident of Crosby, he was a truck driver in the mines. He located to Minneapolis and was on the custodial staff at Minnehaha Academy until retirement. He will be missed as a story teller, cribbage player, bowler, fisherman and avid reader. Memorial service, Saturday, 1/20/18, 1:00pm, Bethlehem Covenant Church, 3141 43rd Ave S Minneapolis.
