Kildahl, Bettilou Age 85, of Bloomington, died peacefully Dec. 10, 2017, due to congestive heart failure. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Scott; son, Scott Jr.; parents and siblings. Survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Russell) Curtis; son, Joel (Mary) Kildahl; daughter-in-law, Debra; grandchildren Matthew (Sarah) Curtis and Holly Kildahl; great-grandchild Summer Curtis; and other dear family and friends. Bettilou worked for many years at Northwestern Bell telephone company in Minneapolis and Fargo but family came first, second and always in her life. She was a talented cook, baker and seamstress who was the heart of a loving home. When it came to family, she drew the circle wide, and cared deeply for treasured nieces, nephews and their children and, of course, her grandchildren and new great granddaughter. Her other joys and interests were many: every time she read another good book it got passed along; she loved crafts, especially ceramics; hosting family and friends for Lake Pickerel weekends; and, always, the simple joy of visiting over a good meal with a hug and kiss before departing. Visitation 10 AM Sunday followed by 11 AM Memorial Service at Cremation Society of Minnesota, Edina Chapel, 7110 France Ave. Private interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Friends of the Hennepin County Library, 300 Nicollet Mall, Mpls., MN 55401. supporthclib.org/give
