Leintz, Julius A. "Don" Our dearly loved Don, age 77, of New Brighton, passed away December 12, 2017. Preceded in death by loving parents, Anton and Julianna; and 6 siblings. Don served in the U.S. Army as an Intel Specialist stationed in Germany during the Cold War. Don was proud of his military career and the 38 years he spent as an insurance agent for State Farm. Don and his wife were avid travelers; they visited many countries and all 50 states. He enjoyed fishing, and joking with his friends and family. Don is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 55 years, Candace; children, John (Jillian) Leintz; Heidi (William Stagnaro) Leintz; grandchildren, Ava, Anna, David, Diego, and Dante; siblings, Leo (Sharon) Leintz; Paul (Linda) Leintz; Angelina Smith; Beatrice Richards; and Joseph (Trish) Leintz; and many extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. The family would like to give a special thanks to the numerous family and friends who have provided support and the staff that cared for Don at Brightondale Assisted Living.
