Lynn M. Peterson Giddings

Peterson Giddings, Lynn M. Age 59, of Woodbury, MN, passed away peacefully at home on Dec. 3, 2017, after a courageous 19 plus year fight with cancer. Lynn was a kind and gentle soul with an amazing heart. Her physical and mental strength along with her spirituality were truly inspiring. She will be greatly missed. Preceded in death by her parents, Rodolph and Marilyn Peterson; sister, Charlene (Sonia) Peterson; and father-in-law, Dean Giddings. Survived by loving husband, Steven; loving son, Eric; sisters, Cynthia (Richard) Welton, Laurie Howe, Lisa (John) Merritt, Lannette (Rich) Gapinski; brothers, Kevin (Lynn) Peterson, Jim Peterson; mother-in-law, Arla Giddings; sisters-in-law, Donna (Ismail) Ozuturk, Nancy Giddings; brother-in-law, Richard (Kathy) Giddings; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Thanks to the Mayo Clinic and especially Dr. Randolph Marks for his compassionate care and friendship. Visitation will be held at O'Halloran & Murphy Funeral Home (8700 Valley Creek Rd., Woodbury) on Tuesday, Dec. 12th from 4 p.m. 8 p.m. Visitation will also take place at Guardian Angels Catholic Church (8260 4th St. N., Oakdale) on Wednesday, Dec. 13th from 9 a.m. 10 a.m., immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help (New Franken, WI).
