Clark, Cheryl Lynn June 30, 1953 - November 12, 2017 Cheryl Lynn Clark, age 64, of Brainerd died November 17, 2017 at her home after a long battle with numerous ailments. Cheryl Lynn Clark was born in Crystal, MN to Harvey and Carol (Ward) Fluck. She grew up in Crystal and graduated from Cooper High School. After she married her first husband (David Thielen) she resided in Eden Valley, MN where her children Tammy and Troy were born. Upon divorce from David she moved back to the Twin Cities area and then up to Brainerd, MN where she worked for Grandview Lodge. On June 27, 1981 she was united in marriage to Robin Clark in Brainerd. After their wedding she moved to Overland Park, KS with Robin and her two children. While in Kansas she worked for Walco & Calus and the National Association of Plastics Distributors. In 1984 Cheryl and family moved back to Brainerd where she took over management of her parent's motel and then she and Robin eventually purchased it. After they sold the motel she worked for the Department of Motor Vehicles, Imgrund Auto and Mills GM. Cheryl had a wide variety of interests including playing cards, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, playing bingo, bowling, traveling, dancing and collecting spoons and bells. Perhaps her greatest joy of all, though, was spending time with her family. She always looked forward to family gatherings. Cheryl had a very nurturing heart and she was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. To know Cheryl was to love her and her spirit lives on in the hearts of all those she crossed paths with. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Carol (Ward) Fluck; her sister Beth Ramin; her Grandma Edith (Ward) Stewart. Cheryl is survived by her husband, Robin Clark; her children, Tammy Clark (Joel Trwey), Troy Thielen; her sister Cindy (Terry) Manes; her grandchildren Thomas Jones, Larissa Jones, Megan Tischman, Emily Tischman, Allison Tischman, Madelyn Thielen; great-grandchildren Amity Jones, Scarlett Tischman; and many other friends and relatives. Details are currently pending for a Celebration of Life service.
