Sullivan, James David age 23, of Bloomington, MN, passed away unexpectedly of a brain aneurysm in his sleep on Sunday, November 12, 2017. Words cannot express our grief and sorrow at the incredible loss of this beautiful young man. James will forever remain the smart, caring, kind and brilliantly funny person that he was in life. James - we all love you more than life itself, and will carry you in our hearts until we are with you again in the arms of our Heavenly Father. James was preceded in death by his grandfather, Francis "Stub" Acketz. Survived by his parents, David and Amy Sullivan; brother, Daniel Sullivan; grandparents, Eunice Acketz, Katherine Sullivan and Joseph M. Sullivan; and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to establish a scholarship in James' honor at the University of Minnesota School of Music.
