Connors, William T. April 13, 1920 - July 4, 2014. Born in East Orange, NJ, to R. Loretta Rayner and Matthew J. Connors. Bill had 2 siblings, Jane and Matt. He met Ruth Bonynge, his lifetime love, when he was 16 and was married to her for 60 years. WWII separated them for 6 years when he served as 2nd Lt. in the Army in England. After the war he earned his business degree from Syracuse University and went on to lead a creative and successful life in public relations and advertising. He lost Ruth in September 2003. Together they reared 5 children, Bill Jr. (Claudette), Ginny, Nancy, Brian and Anne (LeMoyne). He dearly loved his grandchildren, Tony, Jack (Rebecca), Sam, Becca, Sarah, Cameron and Connor, and adored Alayna and Will, his great-grandchildren. Bill was a remarkable writer, artist, gardener, cyclist and water skiier until he was over 90 years of age. He was a wonderful example of a healthy man of faith living life to the fullest. A celebration of Bill's will be held at Hope Presbyterian Church in Richfield at 2 PM on Wednesday, July 9, preceded by visitation at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to N.C. Little Memorial Hospice in Edina where his peaceful life with loving care concluded.
