Sharon C. Mazanec

Mazanec, Sharon C. 79, of Burnsville passed away on 10/19/17 after a difficult six-month battle with glioblastoma. Survived by her husband Tom, sons Greg (Jill) and Matt (Christine), daughter Jenn Graff (Rob) and ten beloved grandchildren. Born in Michigan's U.P., Sharon grew up in greater Detroit and graduated from the University of Michigan. It was in Ann Arbor that she fell in love with both Tom and with the Michigan Wolverines sports teams. Sharon worked in the newspaper and advertising business including owning her own graphic design firm. She and Tom were regular attendees at sports, school and other functions for the grandchildren - often multiple events on the same day. Sharon also enjoyed time at the family cabin in Cumberland, WI. Celebration of Life will be held at White Funeral Home, 12804 Nicollet Ave. S. in Burnsville on Wednesday, October 25 at 3 pm. Visitation one hour beforehand.
