Saxum, Dorothy Irene a long-time resident of North Minneapolis, passed away at the age of 84 on Saturday the 14th of October in Brainerd, Minnesota. Born June 1st, 1933, Dorothy was a graduate of Minneapolis Vocational High School, and a dedicated Honeywell employee. An adventurous spirit and avid traveler, Dorothy spoiled her nieces and nephews with souvenirs and thoughtful gifts--making her the "cool aunt." A chronicler of memories, she was never one to pass up a photo op, often as the one behind the camera. Survived by her sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews and her cousins in Sweden. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Lydia, her siblings; Harriet and Jerrold, her twin Donald R and 2 nephews. Dorothy will be missed dearly by her family, the Honeybelles and lifelong friends. Memorial service 1:00 PM on Fri., Oct. 27 at Washburn McReavy, 3816 Penn Ave. N., Mpls.
