Mattke, Harold W. age 94, born February 9, 1923, went to heaven to be with his Lord Sunday October 15, 2017. Harold had been residing in St. Louis Pk., formerly of Mpls. and born in Morgan, MN (parents Hugo & Luella). He is survived by wife Bernice of 69 years; children Lynne Schulz, Marna, Laurie, and Tim Mattke; grandchildren Jenny (Mike) Zechmeister, Andy (fiance Raina) Schulz; great-grandchildren Stella, Annie, Jacob and James; brother Herbert (Lila) Mattke; and other relatives. Harold graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in 1948. Attended MN School of Business, was in the U.S. Army 1943-1945, was an insurance underwriter for the Board of Pensions for the ELCA. Memorial service Tues., Oct. 31, 11 AM, visitation 10 AM, all at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, 5025 Knox Ave. S., Mpls., 55419.
