Frederick, Richard L. Age 75, of Brooklyn Park passed away unexpectedly in his home on October 12, 2017 from complications of Diabetes. Richard was an artist, writer, teacher, mentor, friend, life partner, and devoted family member. He was an inspiration in how he lived with his blindness. He felt that because of it he learned to see beyond the outer shell of people. He had a huge capacity to love. Preceded in death by mother, Jeanette Frederick and her twin sister, Agnes Erickson. He will be missed by the love of his life, Lynn Neumeister; sister, Judy Carrington (Larry); nephew, Gary (Lillian)Carrington; step-daughter, Laura (Justin) Karst; granddaughters, Infinity, Spheria, and Ayla. A celebration of Richard's life will be held November 4th at 2:30 P.M. at Eastside Neighborhood Services, 1700 2nd St. N.E. Minneapolis, MN. Memorials to National Library for the Blind & Physically Handicapped.
