Lanenberg (Hill) Barbara J. age 90, died Friday, Sept. 15. Recently of New Hope and longtime resident of St Louis Park. Preceded in death by husband, James Lanenberg; daughter, Cindy Lanenberg and brothers, Curtis, Marvin and Don Hill. Survived by son, Thomas (Shari) Lanenberg; granddaughters, Stacey (Corey) Stencel and Kayla (Josh) Satre; great-grandchildren, Gemma and Mirabel Stencel, and Ayden Satre. Barb graduated from Central High School in Mpls and remained friends with a special group of girlfriends in her "Club". Barb took pride in taking care of her family and enjoyed time in her kitchen cooking, baking and entertaining. Her retirement years were spent traveling with Jim and friends, eventually visiting all 50 states. Special thanks to friends Judy and Jana for their support and companionship through Barb's toughest times, and to the staff at St. Therese of New Hope for making her comfortable through the end. Memorial service Friday, Sept. 22, 11:00 AM at Westwood Lutheran Church, 9001 Cedar Lake Road, St. Louis Park, MN, with visitation one hour prior to service at church. Interment Glen Haven Cemetery.
