Flatness, Norman D. Age 80, passed away September 13, 2017. 51 year resident of Eagan. Preceded in death by parents, Norman & Margaret Flatness; nephew, Wade; & in-laws, Werner & Inge Sanders. Survived by loving wife of 58 years, Monika; sons, Michael Flatness & Jeff (Kim) Flatness; grandchildren, Michael, Jesse, Keely, Cassidy, Hannah & Josh; siblings, Alan (Cookie), Darlene Weiss & Donna (Warren) Fridley; sister-in-law, Renate Owen; & nieces & nephews, Bryan (Cindy), Christopher, Penny, Al, Pam, Carl, Robin, Debbie, Sandy, Jamie & Pam. Norman worked for Northwest Airlines for 41 years as an airline mechanic and retired in 2001. He enjoyed fishing & spending time at his cabin on Long Lake in Wisconsin and wintering in Bonita Springs, FL. Memorial Service 11AM Tuesday, September 19th at J.S. KLECATSKY & SONS EAGAN CHAPEL, 1580 Century Pt. (Yankee Doodle @ Coachman) in Eagan, MN. Gathering 5-7PM Monday, September 18th and also 1 hr. prior to the Service on Tuesday all at the funeral home.
