Zachman, Mary Ellen (Plemling) Age 85 Our humble and strong mother was reunited with her beloved husband of 63 years, James Arnold Zachman, on September 5th 2017. She was blessed with 10 loving children, 23 treasured grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren whom she adored. Devoted to God and being an extraordinary mother to all, she was the embodiment of a true Catholic mother. Omi was a leader and mentor who cherished her family above all else. After raising 10 kids, Omi pursued an RN nursing degree and graduated at the top of her class. The examples she provided, the advice she gave, will continue to inspire all of us who will miss her dearly. Her last home was Little Sisters of the Poor, where she received exceptional care as did our entire family. In lieu of flowers, we would all appreciate memorials being sent to Little Sisters of the Poor. Services will take place on Saturday September 9th, 2017 at Little Sisters of the Poor, 330 Exchange Street South, St. Paul, MN 55102.
