Dubanoski, Blanche Augusta (nee Swanson) age 81, went to see her savior August 15, 2017. Blanche was born in North Stonington, Connecticut, the daughter of Maurice and Blanche (nee Lucier) Swanson. She attended Holy Family Academy boarding school in Baltic, Connecticut. She had a whirlwind romance with her husband Joseph Dubanoski, Jr. She met Joe at a dance in January and received a proposal via a diamond ring in a trick or treat bag in October. They were in love and best of friends throughout their 52 years of marriage. Once married, they had an amazing life together; having a family of six children; running many business ventures, traveling the world including all of Asia, Europe and Australia; joining a clown club to entertain children in hospitals and elderly in nursing homes; Blanche was a fantastic mother who always listened and encouraged her children. She was always there when they needed her. She was always quick to praise and even quicker to forgive. Her kids always knew that they could talk to her about anything. Blanche was a strong Catholic and actively involved in her church, attending Mass, going on spiritual pilgrimages, managing the Meals on Wheels program, and providing weekly meals to the homeless. Blanche is survived by her 6 children: Joe (Darlene) Dubanoski of New Hampshire, Patricia (Harold) Bumby of Maine, Steve (Barbara) Dubanoski, Mark (Jeanette) Dubanoski, and Mike (Joan) Dubanoski of Minnesota, and Mary (Jose) Haros of Florida. She also has (15) Grandchildren and (5) Great Grand Children. She is also survived by her cousins Jeanne Venetianer of California, Michael Baldt of Connecticut and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph A. Dubanoski, Jr; parents, Maurice Pierre and Blanche Grace Swanson; her brother, Maurice Joseph Swanson; her sisters Arlene Swanson and Betty Pearson. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017, at 2:30 PM, at St. Thomas More Church, 6 Madbury Rd., Durham, NH.
