Checheris, Thomas 64, of Edina, MN, passed away surrounded by his loving family on July 20th. Tom was born in Minneapolis and was immensely proud of his Greek heritage. He was an award-winning photographer and artist, a 30+ year Sunday School teacher, and served as President of the Resident Council at Sholom Home West. Preceded in death by his parents, John & Eugenia. Survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Vickie; Daughters Marea (Nathan) Anderson, Anastacia (Erik) Lindholm; Siblings Vangie Nicklow (Mark Brattvet), Angela (Chris) Dillon, Leonidas (Kristine) Checheris; Grandchildren Thomas, Nikolas, Michael, Olivia, & Lukas; the Patronas family; & many cousins, nephews, nieces, and Godchildren. Visitation: ST. MARY'S GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH (3450 Irving Ave. S., Mpls.) Wed, July 26, 5-7 pm, with Trisagion prayers at 6 pm. Funeral: Thurs, July 27, 12 pm, also at the church.
