Virginia V. 'Ginny' Gerads

Gerads, Virginia V. "Ginny" age 80 of New Hope passed away June 27, 2017. Preceded in death by son, Joey; and sister, Pat Doucet and husband, Rog. Survived by husband of 54 years, Marty; sons, Michael (Sarah) and Matthew; daughter, Mary Beth; grandchildren, Joshua, Rachel, Rebekah, and Mikey; brothers, Gene (Phylis) Breth and Ron (Sandy) Breth; sister-in-law, Carol Breth; other relatives and friends. Ginny was a Special Olympics coach and a member of the St. Raphael's Rosary Society. She was a longtime volunteer at St. Raphael's and St. Joseph's Parish Communities including leading the Faith Formation for children with special needs. She worked as an LPN prior to marrying Marty and becoming a homemaker. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday (7/1), 11 AM at the Church of St. Raphael, 7301 Bass Lake Rd., Crystal. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery. Visitation Friday (6/30), 5-8 PM with prayer service 7 PM at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37th Ave. North and one hour before the Mass at the church.
