Janine Francis (Cerise) Lessor

Lessor, Janine Francis (nee Cerise) of New Hope, MN passed away suddenly at home on June 21st at the age of 83. She is preceded in death by her father Francis Cerise, mother Marie, and sister Jacklyn Cameron. Janine was born in Minneapolis on January 9, 1934. She graduated from St. Scholastica High School in Duluth, MN and worked as a Keypunch Operator for Marquette Manufacturing. Janine was married to David Lessor on September 8,1956. She is survived by David and her children Steven (Deana) Lessor, Lisa (Jeff) Czyson, and grandchildren, Hayley, Meaghan, and Lindsay Czyson. Janine loved her extended family of brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, and always looked forward to seeing everyone during the holidays. She was also blessed with many close friends. Janine loved time with her family and friends! She was always ready for a game of cards, even computer solitaire if necessary, but her true passion was entertaining on the family boat. She also developed a love for giraffes at a young age and collected figurines throughout her life. Janine believed in volunteerism and dedicated time to assisting in local nursing homes. The funeral service will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 145 Jersey Avenue South in Golden Valley on Thursday, June 29th at 10:00am. Visitation will be held one hour prior at 9:00am.
