Fenton, George J. Age 94, formerly of Mpls. WWII US Coast Guard Veteran. Machinist for over 40 years with Champion Outboard Motors and Honeywell. Proud volunteer for Abbott Northwestern Hospital for 18 years. Preceded in death by loving wife, Bonnie; and siblings, Bob Fenton and Bette Tacheny. Dearly missed by caregivers, Vickie Tacheny, Kellie, Travis, Zach and Zoie Zins; sisters, Shirley Yardley, Bev Cole and Donna Rzutkiewicz; and many nieces, nephews and their families. Funeral Service 11:00AM on Tuesday (May 2) with visitation 1 hour prior at Hope Presbyterian Church, 7132 Portland Ave. in Richfield. Interment Lakewood Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities or Sharing and Caring Hands. Special thanks and God's blessings to all the caregivers from Intrepid Hospice and St. Andrews's Village in Mahtomedi. They brought great comfort to George at the end of his life.
