Joseph, Peggy C. 86 of Bonita Springs, Florida and formerly of Minneapolis, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at Joanne's Hope Hospice April 25, 2017 with family at her side. She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years Duane E. Joseph, her daughters Judith Owen (David) and Meredith Joseph. She was predeceased by her son Duane Robert Joseph, the father of Janeesa Joseph, as well as five grandchildren; Jennifer Johnson, Joseph Owen, Janeesa Joseph, Jostin Calo, Jovani Calo, and four great grandchildren; Maxwell Johnson, Gabrielle Johnson, Everett Price, Rockford Price, and great grandchild to be. Peggy delighted in family gatherings and had an amazing gift of hospitality, always opening their home and hearts to so many friends, family and those in need. Peggy touched so many lives and was instrumental in her children and grandchildren's lives with her compassion, kindness, wisdom and loving generosity. Peggy's life was in service to others. Her inner strength and love for God evident to all who knew her. In addition to being the quintessential mother and wife, Peggy volunteered in many civic organizations and at Breck, Blake, and Burroughs schools in Mpls. She was also an honorary lifetime board member of the Women's Christian Association. A Celebration of Life service will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Bonita Springs, Florida, May 6th 2017 at 10:00 a.m. and a celebration for Peggy will be held at the Horizon's social room following the service. Private interment will be held at Lakewood Cemetery in Mpls., MN. Those wishing to honor Peggy's life are encouraged to make a donation to Joanne's House at Hope Hospice, 27200 Imperial Pkwy, Bonita Springs, FL. 34135. The family would like to thank Drs. Kordonowy and Newton and all the compassionate people at Hope Hospice for all the extraordinary care they gave Peggy. God is good!
