Johnson, Kenneth A. age 87, A lifelong resident of Bloomington, MN, (1929-2017), passed away peacefully on April 26th. He was preceded in death by his wife Elaine in 2013, son Keith in 2003, & grandson Jonathan (Chalgren) in 1994. He is survived by his 3 daughters; Glenda Sweeney (Frank) of Arizona, Terri Blackburn (Mike) of Bloomington, & Janis Chalgren (William) of Kings Park, NY; also 9 grandchildren; Karl, Nick, & Ashton Johnson; Rebekah & Jesse Blackburn, & Miriam Davis (Isaiah); Sarah, Christina, & Jessica Chalgren; & one great grandson Kory Johnson of Faribault, MN. Ken had a zest for life & the great outdoors! He owned KJ Landscaping for over 40 years & was employed by the City of Bloomington in the Parks Division. Ken & Elaine were "snowbirds" in Arizona where he loved to hike. He is loved by many & will be truly missed. There will be a Visitation at Gill Brothers at 9947 Lyndale in Bloomington on Sat. April 29 from 12-3 pm. The Memorial Service will be Monday May 1st at 11am at Grace Church of Eden Prairie. Memorial contributions can be given to Grace Church Missions or Gideons International.
