Stang (Faricy), Megan Leah Age 53, of Mendota Heights, passed away on Thursday, April 20th, 2017 after a courageous 2 1/2 year battle with cancer. Megan graduated from Derham Hall High School in 1982, St. Mary's College in 1986, and William Mitchell College of Law in 1989. After clerking for the late Judge James Campbell, Megan worked at Faricy and Dunn, US Bank, Piper Jaffrey, Fiduciary Counseling, Burr Oak Group and finally for Examination Resources as a contractor for the State of MN Dept. of Commerce, in a position that was very fulfilling for her and was rewarding for the residents of MN. Megan was very passionate about her work and was a member of the MN Bar Association, Ramsey County Bar Association, and was past president of the Children's Hospital Association. Megan loved spending warm sunny days by her pool, where she often entertained friends and family. Her greatest joy, however, came from raising her two sons and watching them play hockey. Megan is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Brian; sons, Jack and Tommy; parents, Ray & Sidney Faricy; siblings, Tara Faricy, Ray (Robynn) Faricy III, Brigid (Gary) Maki, Patrick Faricy; and nieces & nephews. Visitation 4-8 PM Thursday, April 27th at O'Halloran & Murphy Funeral Home (575 S. Snelling Ave, St. Paul). Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday, April 28th at 9 AM at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church (1938 Stanford Ave, St. Paul). Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
