Hanrahan, Ann Marie Age 58, of Lake Elmo, passed away peacefully March 23, 2017. She is sadly missed by husband, David Prince; son, Matthew Hanrahan; step-children, Michael (Hannah) Prince, Peter (Gabriel Longobardi) Prince; granddaughters, Penelope Prince and Charlotte Prince; parents, Robert and Mary Ellen Hanrahan; siblings, Sheila (Tom Gibson) Hanrahan, Robert (Margie Foster) Hanrahan, Jr., Pegeen (Tony Malone) Hanrahan; many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Ann Marie moved when a few weeks old to Gainesville, Florida, where she grew up. After graduation from the University of Florida, she attended law school at the University of Wisconsin, then began practicing law at Faegre & Benson where she became a partner before moving to the General Counsel's office at 3M where she became Vice President and Associate General Counsel for Litigation and Preventive Law and the company's first Director of Corporate Compliance. Active in a variety of community activities, she brought her characteristic energy, dedication, and leadership skills to all of her endeavors. She was an artist at heart, an accomplished ballet dancer and musician at a young age, and a great supporter of the arts, most recently as a member of the Board of Directors of the Guthrie Theater. She and her husband also travelled extensively to pursue their love of art, architecture, food, wine, the outdoors, and learning the cultures of other people and places. Mass of Christian Burial, April 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at ST. MARY'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 423 5th Street South, Stillwater with a gathering of family and friends one hour prior to the Mass at the church.
