Margaret J. 'Peg' (Nee Scothorn) Berg

Berg, Margaret J. "Peg" (Nee Scothorn) Peg was born on June 7, 1922, in Watertown, SD, to George and Veda (Morris) Scothorn and passed away on March 21, 2017 at the age of 94. Peg married her beloved Warren on Nov. 11, 1944. They had two sons, Gary, Martinez, GA, and Scott, Bloomington, MN. In addition to Warren, Peg was predeceased by her brother, George and sisters, Doris Berg, Sally Lee and Mary Law. The four Scothorn sisters were a force to be reckoned with and remain legendary to the family. Peg was a graduate of S. Dakota State, a 50 year member of P.E.O. and an over 50 year member of Good Samaritan UMC in Edina. Peg was an outstanding baker of cookies and pies, avid golfer and bridge player, excellent fisherwoman, volunteer and WCCO Good Neighbor and devoted Twins fan. Peg is survived by sons, Gary (Pam), Scott (Vicki), grandchildren Adam Chase (Jen), Morgan Berg, Warren Berg, Veda Berg and step great grandchildren, Veronica and Ivan. Peg knew she was loved by her family and she gave unconditional love in return. She will be forever in our hearts. A family memorial will be held in June.
