Yaeger, Francis J 11/14/21 - 3/19/17 of Mpls & everywhere. Preceded in death by parents Martin & Catherine (Zeyen) Yaeger and sisters Ada Bauer, Marge Saathoff & Eleanor Speltz. Survived by the light & love of his life, fellow traveler, dance partner, and wife of 62 years, Ruth, son Larry (Sue) daughter Cathy (Dave Lombard) grandchildren Matt (Karen) & Candice Yaeger, Joey, Emma & Pat Lombard, two step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren Lexii, Damien, & Angealise. Frank traveled the world on the GI Plan (USMC, USN & USCG) before meeting Ruth and going a few million miles more, with her at his side. Together they lived in nine states & territories and visited dozens more. They danced, bowled, golfed, hiked & camped the years away. Frank lived with gusto and showed everyone how to embrace every moment. A celebration of his life will be held 10 AM, Monday, 3/27 at St. Leonard of Port Maurice Catholic Church, 3949 Clinton Ave. S., Minneapolis, MN. Reception follows in church hall.
