June Katherine Ahrens

Ahrens, June Katherine Child of God, age 93, of Plymouth, died peacefully on 3/8/2017. Preceded in death by husband, Keith; parents, Jens and Signe Distad; sister, Alice; brothers, Donald and Juleen and daughter-in-law, Marilyn. Survived by children, John (Kathy), Tom, Sharon (Evan), David (Linda), Jens (Laurie) and Signe (Fred); grandchildren Joe (Desiree), Kirsten, Mary (Ryan), Sarah (David), Kris, Emily (Mike), Annalisa (Kelsey), Wyatt, Luke and Vaughan; great-grandchildren, Declan, Jens, June, Noah, Samuel, Elliott, Emmett and Isabella. June loved God and treasured her family. She worked as an Accounting Clerk at the City of New Hope for 21 years. Memorial service Saturday 3/18/17 at 5 pm, First Lutheran Church of Crystal 7708 62nd Ave N., Brooklyn Park. Visitation is one hour prior to church service.
