Dorothy (Holstrom) Jacobson

Jacobson, Dorothy (Holstrom) age 98, of Minnetonka, formerly of Coon Rapids, MN, died Feb 27, 2017. Preceded in death by husband Melvin Jacobson. Survived by children Jerry (Karen) of Monticello, JoAnn (Gary) Rivers of Brainerd, MN, and Tom of Omaha NE; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. She worked 18 years for the Anoka-Hennepin School District, starting as a school cook and ending her career in 1977 as Asst Food Service Director. Her family thanks the owners and staff of Morning Glory Home in Minnetonka for the excellent, loving care they provided in her final years. Thanks also to Park-Nicollet Methodist Hospice Care. Memorial service Sat, Apr 1 at 11 AM at Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel, 250 E Broadway, Monticello, MN, with visitation for one hour prior.
