Alec Steven Manderscheid

Manderscheid, Alec Steven age 16, of Edina, died unexpectedly on February 21, 2017. Preceded in death by grandmother, Joanne Mander-scheid. Survived by parents, Steve and Nicole; brother, Jack; sister, Jena; godparents, Jim and Deb Horejsi; grandparents, Bud Manderscheid and Charlie and Pat Dousette; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Alec was a junior at Edina High School and previously attended Southview Middle School and Cornelia Elementary School. Alec was a member of Edina Boy Scout Troop 62 and had attained the rank of Eagle Scout. He enjoyed camping, snowboard-ing, road biking and was a valued member of the Edina Cycling Team. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed. Memorials preferred to the Alec Manderscheid Memorial Scholarship, c/o Edina Education Fund, 5701 Normandale Road, Edina, MN 55424. Interment Lakewood Cemetery.
