Crew, Walter L. "Bud" Age 92, of Edina, MN, made his final flight at 13:22, 18 Feb 17. Born in Mpls., MN on March 26th, 1924. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jean Forsberg and is survived by his loving wife, Colleen of 56 years and their children Chris (Louise) Crew, Cathy (Todd) Johnson; grandchildren, Allan, Lauren, Ruslan. He graduated from Mpls. Central High in 1942. Navy pilot, received his wings at Pensacola, his air group served on the USS Boxer. In 1951 he was recalled for the Korean Conflict. Marketing analyst, Marsh & McLennan retired 1989. He enjoyed his weekly Dwan outings with his standard foursome of many years, Gopher football ticket holder since WWII. Bud was always busy, tinkering on his Model A, mastering anti-squirrel contraptions and continuous home projects. He was a member of QB's, ANA, Tailhook association, MN Model A Club. Bud will be missed deeply by family members and many friends. Memorials preferred. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery with honors.
