MacGregor, David H. of Minneapolis, MN, passed away suddenly on February 14, 2017, he was 65 years old. David was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and grew up in St. Anthony Village. David had a 30 year career with the St. Paul Pioneer Press prior to his retirement in 2013. David was a proud dad, passionate coach, outdoor enthusiast, avid sports fan and epic lover of music. He was known for his quick wit and always playing the best tunes on the juke box! He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Betty MacGregor and his father-in-law, Patrick McCarthy. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Mary; sons Hal (Ashley) and Mitch; grandchildren Evelyn and Reid; sister Nancy (Jim) Jenks; mother-in-law Anita; many loving family members and most importantly "the best dog ever" Geno. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, February 23 at Elsie's Event Center, 729 Marshall St. N.E. from 4:30 8:30 pm with tribute and stories at 6:30 pm.
