McShane, Helen (Merkel) Age 92, of Brooklyn Park, passed away peacefully at home on February 11. Preceded in death by husband James and son Jeremiah. Survived by children James (Angela), Thomas (Kris), Daniel, and Shannon (David) Burns; grandchildren; siblings Edward Merkel, Josephine Bennett, Cecelia Houle, Marie Tiffin; and Jeanne O'Connor (Jeremiah's life partner). Loving wife, mother and grandmother. Helen faced life's challenges with determined persistence. We will miss her. Celebration of life memorial service planned later this spring through Washburn-McReavy.
