Johnson, Raymond Eugene Age 70, of St. Louis Park, MN. Formerly of Fairfield, IA passed away February 2, 2017. Preceded in death by parents, Raymond Floyd & Hazel Irene Johnson, and niece, Darla Bell. Attended Centerville College, IA. Ray was starting catcher with the Centerville Falcons, coached by Pat Daugherty. During the Vietnam War, Ray was secretary to Lt. Gen. Hal Moore. Following honorable discharge, he graduated from Parsons College, IA. Ray was the Production Control Manager for MEGlobal for 25 years. Ray's passion was baseball and golf. He was an ardent Hawkeye fan. Survived by wife, Nancy; sisters, Barbara (Michael) Scarff, Terri (Tom) Bell, and Karen (Greg) Bremer; children, Jolene (Ryan) Berg, Michelle (Brad) Fremling and Ryan (Laura) Johnson; grandchildren, Austin, Josie, and Gabriella Rae Berg, Braedon and Caleb Fremling, Owen and Mia Johnson. Also, Daniel (Kari) Gronseth; Hannah, Danny and Holly Gronseth. Memorial service Monday, February 27th, 2017, 11 am, Normandale Lutheran Church, 6100 Normandale Rd, Edina. Luncheon following service.
