Marble, Scott A. Of Brooklyn Park, MN passed away on January 15th, 2017 at HCMC. He was born August 12th, 1968 in Farmington, MN to Alan and Phyllis Marble. He is survived by and married to Shaun Olson. They were together for 19 years. Also surviving are his parents, Alan and Phyllis Marble of Apple Valley, MN and two brothers, Ross (Jill) Marble and Chad (Resha) Marble, 5 nephews and 1 niece, extended family and friends and his beloved dog, Remy. Scott went to college at UM-Duluth and obtained his BS in Accounting. Later he went to St. Thomas University and obtained his MBA. He worked for Pearson for 20 years and was the VP of Finance. He was diagnosed with ALS in July of 2012 where he fought a very courageous battle. He & Shaun were strong advocates for ALS. Scott's favorite pastimes were traveling with Shaun, spending time with friends and family, watching movies, reading, collecting comics and making people laugh. Scott also loved music. He collected records and his favorite decade was the 80's. Scott was an organ donor. He had a Flag Raising ceremony in his honor. He was a giver all of his life and even after. "It's not dying that you need be afraid of, it's never having lived in the first place." -The Green Hornet We are going to have a "Celebration of Life" on Sunday, January 22nd, from 2:00-5:00 PM, Time of Sharing will be at 3:30 PM at First Memorial Edina Chapel, 7110 France Avenue S., Edina, MN 55435.
