Mons, Richard Alan age 68, passed away on Nov. 15. Preceded in death by his parents (Raymond, Ruth, and Ardyce). Survived by wife Barbara; sons Andrew (Megan Powers), Matthew (Molly), Alexander, and stepson Todd Kehrberg; grandchildren Oscar, Fiona, and Madeline; and brother Roy (Jo). Rick was born in Chicago, attended Drake University, and was a long-time resident of Shoreview. He was passionate about spending time with his family, working in his community, and volunteering with Special Olympics. His appreciation for cars and gadgets was unrivaled. He will be dearly missed by many loved ones for his quick wit, zeal for debating, and kind heart. A memorial service will be held on Sat., Dec. 3, at 11 AM with visitation at 10 AM at First Congregational Church, 500 8th Ave SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414.
