Faacks, Emmett S., Jr. Age 84 of Golden Valley went to heaven on October 1, 2016 joining his parents Emmett, Sr. and Grace Boldt (Lambke); daughter Kathleen Hunter. Survived by Betty, his loving wife of 62 years; children Tim (Maria), Lynette (Russ) Drake, Sandy Waryan, Cindy (Tim) Lobitz, Beth (Dan) Tauer; son-in-law Jeff Hunter; grandchildren Tia, Kyle, Angela, Krystal, Andrea, Daniel, Shelby, John, Lindsay, Reese, Erika, Gracie, Skyler, Chelsie and Bailey; 8 great grandchildren. Bud was a loving husband, father, brother to Dorothy Hansen and Bruce (Nancy) Faacks. Bud served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War aboard the U.S.S. Block Island. He was the owner of a successful screen printing business B & B Adcrafters until his retirement. His passion in life was his family, golfing, traveling and wintering in Arizona. He was a long-time member 40+ years as past President and honorary member of the Eastside Exchange Club of Minneapolis. Visitation Thursday, October 6 5:00-8:00 PM at Washburn McReavy Glen Haven Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, October 7 11:00 AM at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 2323 Zenith Ave. N., Golden Valley with visitation one hour prior to Mass. Interment Monday, October 10 11:00 AM Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Eastside Exchange Club c/o John Fischer, 7120 Duluth St., Golden Valley 55427.
