Schmit, Thomas J. Age 75 of Minnetonka, passed away September 27, 2016. Owner of A & T Upholstery, the work he loved. Devoted husband, loving father and grandfather. Best friend to his son and a passionate fisherman. Preceded in death by son, John; and 3 sisters, Louella, Lorraine and Bonnie. Survived by wife of 56 years, Nancy; daughter, Debra of Eden Prairie; daughter-in-law, Kelly; and grandchildren, Gina and Joe of Shorewood; and many wonderful relatives and friends. Memorial Mass, 10:00 am, Tuesday, Oct. 4th at the Church of St. Therese, 18323 Minnetonka Blvd., Deephaven. Visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
