Killey, Sarah (Sally) Frances Sally Killey, age 84 of Minnetonka, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Philomena Frontiera, brother Anthony, sisters Annie, Florence, Madeline, Rose and Mary Jo. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Eugene (Gene) Killey and children, Mike (Laurie) Killey, Susie (Bary) Easton, Ed Killey, Bobby (Julie) Killey, Gina (Damon) Mathews, Lisa (Mike) Pavelka; twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Also survived by her brother, Joe (Judy) Frontiera, sister, Thonia Pallazola, sisters-in-law, Margie Frontiero, Mary Lou Joseph and Natalie Linquata, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and life-long friend, Katie Perry. Sally was born and raised in Gloucester, MA, graduating from GHS in 1950. After marrying Gene in 1952, his Air Force and civilian careers moved them from Gloucester to New York, Greece, California, Oklahoma, Colorado, Wisconsin, Hopkins and Minnetonka, MN. After retirement, they spent many winters at their home near Las Vegas, NV. While raising six children, Sally volunteered with the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and Red Cross Catholic Charities. She and Gene also sponsored three children in Catholic orphanages. She always had a love of numbers, playing cards and helping friends play bingo. Special thanks to Dr. Joel Carter, Dr. Jake Matlock and the healthcare professionals at Park Nicollet that provided compassionate care for Sally. Donations in her memory may be directed to The Frauenshuh Cancer Center/Park Nicollet Foundation (parknicollet.com) Memorial Services will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 13505 Excelsior Blvd., Minnetonka on Thursday October 6th at 2 PM.
