Earp, Mary 'Pat' The funeral mass for Mary Patricia 'Pat' Earp will be at 4:30 pm, Friday, September 23 at Our Lady of Grace, Catholic Church, Edina; visitation will begin at 3:30 pm. Pat died peacefully at her home in Edina on September 18 following a long illness. Born in Crookston, Minnesota, in 1932, Pat graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1954 with a BS degree in Home Economics, and taught at the high school level. At UND she was the president of her sorority, the student representative for Greek life, and made Who's Who in American universities. Pat had a full and active life. She embraced motherhood, friendships, cooking, golf, bridge, bowling, fishing, crossword puzzles, church, and international travel. Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Earp, of 61 years, who died September 6. She is survived by her children, Mark (Maureen) Earp, Mike (Terrie) Earp, Susan (David) Hume and William Earp, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren, brother Robert (Joie) Mercil, and uncle Larry LaLonde (96).
