Derald Murphy

Murphy, Derald Age 74 of Lyle, Minnesota passed away peacefully on August 25. Survived by his wife, Roxie; son, Derek (Jackie); daughter, Deena; step-children Tracy, Julie, and Rob (Maggie). Also, brothers, Dean and Reuben; sisters, Nyla and Carolyn; many loving grandchildren and numerous family and friends. Derald will be remembered for his caring spirit, his humor, his optimism and his determination that enabled him to get through both the joys and sorrows of his life. Derald was a veteran of the Air Force, and he proudly served his country for 8 years. The memorial service will be held on Monday, August 29 at 2:30 pm at RidgePointe in Minnetonka, 12600 Marion Lane West. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to North Memorial Hospice or Monticello Cancer Center.
