Yandle, Larry E. age 68, of Burnsville passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on July 29, 2016 after a courageous fight with lung cancer. Larry served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War, and re tired from US Airways after 33 years. After retirement he drove school bus for ten years with Durham School Services. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Madge, and sister-in-law, Susan Yandle. Larry is survived by his loving wife, Connie of 37 years; children, Cliff (Rachael), Diana Yandle and her fiancé Brian Sorlie, and Nancy (Christian) Feichtinger; grandchildren Madisen, Collin, Lane, June, and Ripley; siblings, Jim Yandle, and Darlene Yandle; other relatives and many friends. Memorial service will be held 6 PM Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the River Hills United Methodist Church, 11100 River Hills Dr., Burnsville with a gathering of family and friends 2 hrs. prior to service at church.
