Michael 'Mike' Gerbich

Gerbich, Michael (Mike) 74, of Scottsdale, AZ, passed away on July 13, 2016. Mike was a larger than life husband, father, uncle, father figure and friend to many. He is survived by his loving wife Francie Gerbich of 48 years; sons Cuyler and Kashe. Mike was the youngest of three children, he is survived by his sister Natalie Spalj and is now joining his brother Dan Gerbich in heaven. Mike was raised in Crosby, MN by parents Daniel Gerbich and Dorothy Paynovich. His spirit in life led him to many places, people and stories for days. He spent most of his life overseas living in Indonesia, Iran, Singapore and finally Dubai. There was never a dull moment when Mike aka Mickey or The Gerb was around. He always had time for everyone. A avid golfer with a penchant for the finer rules of the game. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 18th, 2016 at 10am at Our Lady of Joy, 36811 N. Pima Road, Carefree, AZ.
