Kinkead, Robin Age 75, of Long Lake, WI, passed away April 11, 2014. Robin was born in San Francisco, CA and attended Johns Hopkins University where he received a graduate degree in psychology. Robin was an expert in human factors and as a human factors engineer he worked at Honeywell, NCR, Xerox and Medtronic among others. He read thousands of books and loved traveling the world with his wife Midge. Robin was especially known for his encyclopedia-like mind, his writings and his wit. He is survived by his wife, Midge; daughters, Tracy (Todd) Langevin and Lauren Kinkead; five grandchildren, Kelly, Danny, Kelsey, Kiersten, and Kaitlyn; and sister, Melanie Kinkead. A memorial gathering will be held August 2nd on Holy Island, Long Lake. A vigorous supporter of the Long Lake Preservation Association, memorials may be made to LLPA (P.O. Box 336, Birchwood, WI 54817) or the Animal Humane Society of one's choice.
