Harasyn, Elizabeth "Betty" D. (nee De Grood) age 96 of St. Louis Park. Betty was active in the Holy Family Catholic Church Rosary and Altar Societies and the St. Louis Park Women's Club. She enjoyed working in her fruit, vegetable and flower gardens, playing bridge and golf and was an avid reader. Betty was preceded in death by beloved husband of 63 years, Benn; sister, Billie Parsons and brother, Ted De Grood. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Jim Harasyn and Elise, Don Harasyn and Barb; daughter and son-in-law, Barb Eitel and Tom; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; sisters, Harriet Claessen and Marianne (Bill) Delany; brothers, Al (Jinny), Clem (Edith) and Don (Jane) De Grood; sister-in-law, Olga Krochalk; many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial Tues. 10:30 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Family, 5900 W. Lake St., St. Louis Park. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation Mon. 5-8 p.m. with Rosary service at 8 p.m. at Gearty- Delmore Park Chapel, 3960 Wooddale Ave. S., St. Louis Park and at church one hour prior to the Mass.
