Maloney, Myrna M. age 81, of Edina. Myrna was born in Albert Lea, MN and is preceded in death by parents Porter and LeVon Henaman of Minneapolis. She is survived by loving and devoted husband of 62 years, Jim; daughters Barb (Mike) Spece, Venice, FL; Bridget Maloney, Eden Prairie; Cathy Weikert (Doug), Collegeville, PA; and Myrna Flynn (Jim), Northampton, MA; and sons Vince (Jody), New Prague; Joe (Rita), Chanhassen; and Kevin (Mary Jo), Eden Prairie; and special family member, Linda Maloney. Myrna was proud of her 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Stan (Jackie), Houston, TX; Ron (Judy), Minneapolis; and Alan (Leslee), Woodbury, along with many nieces and nephews. When her children were growing up, she volunteered as a Girl Scout leader and Cub Scout den mother. Later, she was a lector at church and served as president of the Minneapolis Deaneries Council of Catholic Women (1982-84) and was appointed president of the Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women (1987-89). She loved being a wife and stay-at-home-mom, though she also worked part-time outside the home for 16 years at Hennepin County's Southdale and Ridgedale libraries. Myrna enjoyed playing bridge and golf. She also travelled extensively with her husband in the U.S. and overseas. Her favorite times, however, were those when family members were together. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, April 22 at 11:00 am, with visitation one hour prior, at the Church of St. Patrick, 6820 St. Patrick's Lane, Edina, MN 55439.
