Walburg, William J. age 92, New Brighton, MN. Loving and beloved Husband, Father, Grand and Great- Grandfather. Served with U.S. Army Signal Corps and Combat Engineers in Europe and Japan during WWII. Graduated from University of Minnesota Institute of Technology in 1948. Employed as a Civil and Structural Engineer at Northern Pacific RR, St. Paul, Jacus Associates, Mpls, and Henkel Corp., Edina. Member of Am. Swedish Inst., U of M Alum. Assn., Grace Point Church of New Brighton. Preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Lillian (Engstrom) Walburg; brother, James Walburg. Survived by loving wife, Lois; sons, Stephen (Carol) and David (Elaine); daughter, Susan (Roger) Schluessel; grandchildren, Lauren and Zhenya Walburg, Blake (Melody) Walburg, Lianna (Jonathan) Stockeland, Alexander (Heather) Walburg, Jon, Jeffrey, Christian Walburg, Jenna and Amy Schluessel; great-grandchildren, Ira, Jamin and Alina; Evelyne and Liam; and Leila; brother, Warren (Arlene) Walburg of Cambridge; sisters, Adelle (Walburg) Olson of Faribault and Donna (Walburg) McLaren of Atlantic, Iowa.
