Peterson, Harold "Hal" Age 83, of Edina, MN, passed away on March 21, 2014. Survived by Rita, loving wife of 55 years, children Brad Peterson (Christine) and Lisa Gavin (Mark) and grandchildren Ben and Mitch Gavin, and Alexa, Liza, Annika and Lierin Peterson. Graduate of the University of South Dakota and William Mitchell College of Law. Served in the US Army as a lieutenant in the Korean War. He had a 35-year career at Honeywell followed by many good years of retirement. He loved his family and was extremely proud of them all. Was famous for his beautiful blue eyes and "cherry soups". Enjoyed golfing with friends at Braemar Golf Course in the summer and at St. Simons Island, GA during the winter. He took pride in his career and family accomplishments after being raised on a small farm in Ipswich, South Dakota. We would like to thank the dedicated staff of Wealshire of Bloomington for the excellent care they gave Hal. He will be deeply missed by family and friends.
