Benjamin, Linda A. age 66, of Plymouth, went home to Jesus peacefully on March 10 surrounded by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Winifred; brother, Dean. Survived by lifelong "Special Friend" Mary Hulbert; siblings, Bonnie (Bill) Olson, Barry Benjamin, Neal (Kathy) Benjamin, DDS; nieces and nephews, Kathleen (Lonny) Oehlerking, Colleen Olson, Billy Olson, Patrick Benjamin, Colin Benjamin; grandnieces, Mackenzie and Maggie Oehlerking; extended family; many, many, many friends including her "feline friends", Betsy and Annie. Linda team taught first grade in the Minneapolis Public School System for 34 years with Mary. Teaching and loving her "kids" was a lifelong passion for Linda. She touched so many deeply with love and generosity and made so many lives better because of it. The world is truly a better place because of her bright and caring spirit. An Irish celebration of Linda's life will be held Saturday 11 AM at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, 7300 42nd Ave North. (Please dress in your "Irish" spirit clothes!) Visitation 1 hour prior to service.
