Hazel E. Herring

Herring, Hazel E. age 82 of Edina, passed away on March 6th, 2014. She was born on a reservation in Bejou, Minnesota, third of five children. Preceded in death by mother and father, Henrietta and Benjamin Holter of Minneapolis, sister, Dorothy and brothers, Harold and Don. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Fritz; children, Paula (Tim) of San Diego and Dave (Amy) and grandson, Ben of Medinah, Illinois; brother, Earl of Edina and many friends and loved ones. Hazel will be remembered for her Christian faith, love of tutoring children, baking cookies and sending cards to all around her. Funeral service will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran, 54th and France Ave S. in Edina on March 14 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation held one hour prior. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial to St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
