Anderson, Paul J. of Bloomington, MN, 84, was born on February 25, 1929 in Willmar, MN to Paul and Olga (Reetz) Anderson. He grew up in Willmar and graduated from high school there, he then attended and played hockey for St. Olaf College. After college Paul joined the Army. He married Marilyn Engh in 1956 in Edina, MN. Paul worked for Joyers of Osseo, MN. He then owned two packing stores one in Burnsville and St. Paul. Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching sports. He was a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Bloomington, MN the Masons. Paul is survived by his wife, Marilyn Anderson; daughters, Kerry (Steve) Brubaker of Lancaster, PA, Kim (Chris) Stewart of Prior Lake, MN; grandchildren, Hannah Brubaker, Gabrielle Brubaker, Katie Stewart, Kendall Stewart; sisters, Alice Current of Chicago, IL, Emily Pietz of Lewistown, MT, as well as several nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Adam Stewart. A Memorial Service for Paul J. Anderson of Bloomington, MN will be held on Friday, July 26, 2013 at 11:00AM at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, 8400 France Ave S. in Bloomington, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be held at a later date. Paul Anderson passed away on Friday, July 19, 2013 at the Lakewood Health Center in Baudette, MN at the age of 84.
