McHugh, Richard B. age 92, of Mpls, passed away peacefully on 6/1/2016. Richard had a distinguished career as a Professor of Biometry at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. For over 30 years he taught, did research, and advised graduate students in the field of biostatistics. In retirement, he was an active community member, tutoring elementary and high school students in math. He was active in the North Suburban "Golden K" Kiwanis Club and St. Charles Borromeo VIP Club. Preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary; daughter, Mary and 10 siblings. Survived by daughter, Claire (John) Tafoya; sons, Paul (Barbara), Mark (Carol), John (Anna); son-in-law, Steve Thomforde; grandchildren, Colleen, Kyle (Kelsey), Neil, Jenna, Kathryn and Carl; brother-in-law, Robert Jarvis; loving family and friends. Visitation Thursday (TONIGHT) 4-7 PM at the Billman-Hunt Chapel, 2701 Central Ave NE, Mpls.
